Phone 01274 739926 CASTRS is a drop-in service available for our clients to access information, advice and support. The service runs every Monday from 10am to 2pm at Horton's Training Centre. The drop-ins help clients with signposting, benefit claims, PIP, ESA and JSA sanctions and appeals. The service provides advocacy on the behalf of clients and staff are on-hand to support clients with calls to external agencies and with collecting of proof of ID. Computers are available for clients to fill out online applications and search for jobs and training courses. The cafés are held weekly and fortnightly in community venues in Selby, Eggborough, Tadcaster, South Milford and Hambleton. Venues are wheelchair accessible. Our community cafés provide informal learning sessions and activities in a safe and relaxed atmosphere. Sessions include healthy eating, exercise, IT skills, mental wellbeing, crime prevention, arts and craft workshops. Many of the sessions are delivered in partnership with other organisations and are suitable for people with learning disabilities. The residential sites provide accommodation for between 12 and 16 families. All sites have a communal garden area and a drop-in facility for small meetings or one-to-one sessions. Each pitch has its own service block (shed), which includes a kitchen area and bathroom/ utility room. Most pitches have space for two caravans and one or two vehicles.
