We are working with Craven District Council to deliver this service. The service gives financial advice and support including: Court representation Budgeting and managing money Debt Management Negotiation with landlords Supporting engagement with other relevant support services. The cafés are held weekly and fortnightly in community venues in Selby, Eggborough, Tadcaster, South Milford and Hambleton. Venues are wheelchair accessible. Our community cafés provide informal learning sessions and activities in a safe and relaxed atmosphere. Sessions include healthy eating, exercise, IT skills, mental wellbeing, crime prevention, arts and craft workshops. Many of the sessions are delivered in partnership with other organisations and are suitable for people with learning disabilities. Supported accommodation is available in Skipton and Selby. All accommodation is self-contained and fully furnished, including white goods. Housing management staff are available throughout the day, Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm. Night security staff are on site at some of our properties. The residential sites provide accommodation for between 12 and 16 families. All sites have a communal garden area and a drop-in facility for small meetings or one-to-one sessions. Each pitch has its own service block (shed), which includes a kitchen area and bathroom/ utility room. Most pitches have space for two caravans and one or two vehicles. The scheme provides a repairs and maintenance service and support with housing benefit and personal charge payments. Staff are on site 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday.
